Eleanor Crighton, or Elle, has worked in the health sector since 1995.

Elle graduated from her nursing degree in 1995, since then she has completed a diploma in aged care, midwifery qualifications and masters of midwifery in 2002, as well as child health qualifications completed in 2010. Elle became a Nurse Practitioner in 2017.

Much of Elle’s working career has been spent in rural hospitals and women’s health in the Northern Territory and Victoria.

I have never wanted to do anything else. I have loved my career and always encourage other people to become nurses.

Being a Midwife and Nurse Practitioner allows Elle to offer a higher scope of service and care to her patients. Rather than just prescribing medication, Elle can offer holistic primary health care with a wide array of skills.
